Attorneys need accommodations too!

Recently I was seeking accommodations for a client with a heart condition. The negotiations were going very well for my client. Suddenly, the attorney for my client asked for an accommodation! The accommodation was granted. All court users with qualified disabilities may request accommodations - this includes witnesses, jurors, parties and attorneys.

This week, the American Bar Association published a report on The Path to Lawyer Well Being. The report advocates for the well being of attorneys to be addressed at the firm, bar association and judicial levels. Many of these suggestions can be implemented with seeking accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Thank you @annebrafford, Editor-in-Chief for championing this project!
